There's no denying the lady has plenty of courage and passion.
In 1960, a young Jane Goodall ventured into the wilds of Tanzania to study chimpanzees.
She spent most of the next four decades living with the apes, becoming the world's leading authority on their behaviour.
With her blonde good looks, Goodall became a National Geographic poster girl, a wildlife celebrity.
She's now 77, but she hasn't lost any of her drive, campaigning tirelessly for animal welfare and conservation.
Lara Logan, of US 60 Minutes, took her back to Africa, to the forest where it all began.
